Works for full power 350 Legend loads & did what I hoped it would

    Fl shooter

After being assured by Kirk at Samson that it would hold up to a 350 Legend, I put it on my Ruger American Compact 350 Legend. Although the Legend is not supposed to be hard kicking, my lightweight Ruger Compact does have a bit of a "snap" to it when fired with full power loads (2300fps 158gr and 2100fps 180gr). The way the comp looked and after measuring the openings and their position, it appeared it would both reduce muzzle flip and recoil, and it did! Now it didn't make the Legend turn into a .22 rimfire in recoil, but it took enough "snap" out of it that it is more pleasant to shoot for my plinking purpose of having a Legend. As the shooter with hearing protection on, plugs and muffs, it didn't make it noticeably louder either. Have not had someone else shoot it while I stood to the side yet. Testing the Ruger with and without the comp, neither the group size nor group position on the target changed. Have not fired it on a 9mm carbine, so I don't know how it would work for that purpose with its less power and gas being generated. Also I contacted the maker of another 9mm comp that I though would work, but they wouldn't warrantee it for Legend use.
