Samson's True Back Up Rear Sights.

Since these backup sights were never meant to be the primary aiming system, we did away with the dual apertures and went with a single .160 aperture which is small enough for accurate shooting yet large enough to still be of use in low-light environments. Sights lock in both the folded and deployed positions. The durable construction and solid mounting system guarantees you'll stay on-zero.

    Features:
    • .160 aperture

Rugged, simple, dependable, low profile Rear Sight

This is an excellent backup sight that flexes very well into being a full-time iron sight, or folds away in a low profile until you need it. I am currently using this to fold under a LPVO sitting at a 1.5" centerline height, with no clearance issues at all. Unlike the very minimalist rear sights, this aperture is protected by ears and has a very definitive tactile and audible windage clicks. It has a very secure steel bar to prevent it from folding down until you decide to manually do so. The manual flip up operation is smooth with no burrs. I do like the .160 aperture, which is unique compared to the traditional .200/.070" dual, and it's actually very easy to pick up in all lighting conditions, while keeping everything simple and a one-size fits all without having to switch between apertures. Overall, I think this is an excellent Made in the USA sight and is very fairly priced. Would highly recommend.
