Samson STAR SIG 556 handguards are a two-piece free-float design that is easy to install. Lightweight aluminum construction, features Picatinny rails at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. Fits the Sig Sauer 556, 556 Classic and 556R. Will not fit the Xi.
The 3-hole or 4-hole refers to the number of mounting screws on the top of the SIG 556.
NOTE: Only the 3-Hole is compatible with SIG 556R.

Easy Install 3 Hole SIG-556R

A high-quality addition to a fine rifle. Handguard pretty much dropped right in. Very easy. Written instructions could be a bit more detailed with illustrations to make things easier but all in all pretty simple to install. The handguard is defiantly a 5-star piece of gear however the only issue I did have was I didn't get my Samson bumper sticker. There was a piece of paper inside with a paperclip attached that said enjoy your sticker but there wasn't one to be seen.
